Bangladesh is under enormous strain,
following the influx of Rohingya refugees from Burma. Whilst their emergency needs such as shelter and food is now being catered for, many still have no hope for the future.
Human Aid UK are aiming to help change the status quo by providing salaries for teachers. The teachers themselves are Rohingya refugees and we would be helping to stabilise their lives by providing them with a salary. Their job would be to teach the other refugees, adults and children, so that they have better future prospects.
Of course, the refugees aren't the only needy people in Bangladesh. It is one of the most impoverished nations in the world and many people are living well below the poverty line with no one to provide them with support. Human Aid UK are providing widows and orphans, elderly, and most needy with shelters and tube wells such that their most basic needs are catered for.
Please donate as much as you can to help us bring hope to life.
